SECURITY - Keeping your loved ones safe. L&O Products' kick lock adds an additional layer of security to your sliding door. While in the engaged position, criminals are not able to lift the panel off the track or slide it over to get into your home.
STREGTH - When engaged, the metal plates are able to withstand up to 1000lbs of load tension.
VERSITILITY - Our locks can be installed both at the bottom and top of the sliding door. The top rail is great for families with children and/or swimming pools. While the bottom rail adds security and blends in with the door. Installing one on top and on the bottom fully maximizes your sliding door security.
MULTI USE - Our locks will work on Vinyl, Aluminum & Wood Sliding Doors. They will ONLY work on two panel doors with Sliding Panels being on the INSIDE track. Our lock WILL NOT work on doors with sliding panels being on the exterior of the home.
INSTALLATION - Bring sliding doors to a locked position. Position the lock on the vertical rail of the sliding panel just above the sill. Lengthen the bolt down as close to the sill as possible without touching the sill. Mark the four (4) holes on the kick lock while having the bolt all the way down. Mount the kicklock with the 4 Screws (it is recommended to be drill these holes with a 1/8" metal drill bit). Position the keeper so that the bolt is in the centre of the keeper. Mark the two holes for the keeper and mount the keeper.
